Dikembangkan oleh duo developer indie asal Jepang, Lemorion_1224 dan Haganeiro, game ini mengusung genre multiplayer hide-and-seek (petak umpet) dengan mekanik kamuflase yang brilian dan penuh kreativitas.   &nbsp; Sinopsis &amp; Deskripsi Gameplay Di Meccha Chameleon, pemain dibagi ke dalam dua kubu utama: Seeker (Pencari) dan Hider \/ Chameleon (Bunglon yang bersembunyi). Alih-alih hanya bersembunyi di balik objek seperti petak umpet tradisional, pemain harus benar-benar menyatu dengan lingkungan.     Mekanik Menyamar (Tim Hider): Pemain mengontrol karakter berbentuk humanoid polos berwarna putih. Sebagai Hider, Anda harus menggunakan alat seperti color picker (pemilih warna) untuk mengecat seluruh tubuh karakter agar warna dan teksturnya menyatu sempurna dengan latar belakang\u2014seperti tembok, lantai, atau perabotan.    Teknik Manipulasi: Selain mewarnai tubuh, Hider bisa mengubah ukuran badan, menggunakan pose spesifik (meringkuk atau berbaring), hingga membuat klon tiruan (dummy) untuk mengecoh Seeker.    Misi Seeker: Mencari ketidakkonsistenan warna di lingkungan sekitar dan menemukan semua Hider sebelum batas waktu habis. Hider memiliki fitur taunt (siulan) otomatis, di mana karakter mereka sesekali akan mengeluarkan suara untuk memberi petunjuk pada Seeker, memastikan Hider tidak bisa sekadar bersembunyi secara pasif selamanya.   Selain mode klasik, game ini menyediakan mode Infection (Hider yang tertangkap akan berubah menjadi Seeker) dan Double (semua pemain bersembunyi lebih dulu, lalu semuanya berlomba mencari satu sama lain).
