Complete Synopsis Of The Film Tangled (2010)

Tangled is an animated musical film produced by Walt Disney Animation Studios released in 2010, adapted from the German fairy tale “Rapunzel” by The Brothers Grimm. The Film combines adventure, romance, comedy and drama with stunning visuals and iconic songs by Alan Menken. Here is the most complete synopsis of the film:

Background and beginning of the story

The story begins with a legend in the Kingdom of Corona. A magical flower, created from a drop of sunlight, has the power to heal and rejuvenate. This flower was hidden for centuries by Mother Gothel, a selfish and manipulative old woman. He uses the power of flowers to preserve his youth and immortality by singing a special song.

When Queen Corona, who was pregnant, fell seriously ill, the Royal soldiers found the magical flower and used it to heal the Queen. The Queen gave birth to a daughter named Rapunzel, who had long golden hair with the same magical powers as the flower. However, at night, Mother Gothel sneaks into the palace, kidnaps Rapunzel, and cuts off a strand of her hair to retrieve her powers. When the hair lost strength after being cut, Gothel decided to hide Rapunzel in a hidden Tower in the forest in order to continue to make use of her magical hair.

Gothel raised Rapunzel as her own daughter, forbidding her to leave the tower on the grounds that the outside world was dangerous. Every year, on Rapunzel's birthday, The King and Queen of Corona release thousands of lanterns into the sky as a symbol of hope to find their missing daughter. Rapunzel, now 18, often looks at the lanterns from her tower window and feels attracted, not knowing that they are intended for her.

Rapunzel's life in the Tower

Rapunzel grew up to be a smart, creative and passionate girl, despite her confined life. He spends his days painting, reading, cooking, and talking to his best friend Pascal, a chameleon. His very long hair (about 70 feet) was used for a variety of activities, including helping Gothel climb up and down the tower. Rapunzel often questions the outside world, but Gothel always scares her with stories about dangers, such as criminals and “spiky-haired humans.”

Although obedient, Rapunzel has a big dream: she wants to see the “floating lights” (lanterns) that appear every day of her birthday. He believes that the Lantern has a special meaning for his life. On the eve of her 18th birthday, Rapunzel ventured to ask Gothel's permission to go see the Lantern, but Gothel balked, making Rapunzel even more curious.

Flynn Rider ' S

Meanwhile, in the kingdom, a charismatic thief named Flynn Rider (real name: Eugene Fitzherbert) along with his two accomplices, the Stabbington Brothers, steal the Princess's crown from Corona Palace. On the run from the royal guards and a smart horse named Maximus, Flynn hides in Rapunzel's Tower after breaking away from his plot.

Rapunzel, who has never met anyone other than Gothel, is frightened but also curious. Bravely, he struck Flynn unconscious using a frying pan and hid him. After finding a stolen crown in Flynn's bag, Rapunzel sees an opportunity. He makes a deal with Flynn: he will return the crown if Flynn takes him to the kingdom to see the lantern and escort him back to the tower safely.

Flynn, who initially just wanted to run away, eventually agreed because he had no choice. Their adventure begins, marking the first time Rapunzel steps out of the tower and experiences the outside world. Rapunzel feels a jumble of joy and guilt for “fighting” Gothel.

Adventures and development of relationships

Along the way, Rapunzel and Flynn face various obstacles. They are pursued by Maximus, The Royal Guard, and the Stabbington Brothers, who feel betrayed by Flynn. At an inn called Snuggly Duckling, they meet a group of thugs who are initially intimidating, but turn out to have big dreams like Rapunzel. Rapunzel wins their hearts with her kindness and zeal, and the thugs help them escape from the guards.

On the other hand, Gothel, realizing Rapunzel is running away, starts chasing them. He also allied with the Stabbington Brothers to frame Flynn, taking advantage of their greed. Gothel attempts to manipulate Rapunzel into returning to the tower by instilling doubts about Flynn's intentions.

Rapunzel and Flynn's relationship evolves from mutual suspicion to mutual trust. Rapunzel shares her dream of a lantern, while Flynn slowly opens up about his past as an orphan trying to find himself. The culmination is a romantic moment at the lake, as they watch the lanterns being released in the Kingdom of Corona. In the song “I See the Light, " the two realize their feelings of love and find new meaning in each other's lives.

Conflict and betrayal

After the lantern moment, Gothel manipulates the situation into making Rapunzel believe Flynn betrayed her. Gothel makes it seem as if Flynn gave up Rapunzel for the sake of the crown, causing Rapunzel to break her heart and return to the tower with him. Meanwhile, Flynn is captured by the royal guard after being framed by the Stabbington Brothers and Gothel, then imprisoned for hanging.

In the tower, Rapunzel begins to realize the truth about her identity. Through flashes of memory and the sun patterns she painted on the walls, she realized that she was The Lost Princess of Corona. When he confronts Gothel, Gothel shows her true nature, tying Rapunzel up and intending to imprison her forever.

Sementara itu, Flynn diselamatkan oleh Maximus dan para preman dari Snuggly Duckling. He rushes to the tower to rescue Rapunzel. However, Gothel fatally stabs Flynn as soon as he arrives. In a tragic moment, Rapunzel begs to heal Flynn with her hair, even willing to give up her freedom to Gothel. Flynn, who does not want Rapunzel trapped forever, cuts Rapunzel's hair with a piece of glass before passing out. Without magic hair, Gothel ages rapidly and falls from the tower, crumbling to dust.

Rapunzel tries to heal Flynn, but the strength of her hair has been lost. In desperation, Rapunzel's tears fell to Flynn's face, and it turned out that his tears still held a little flower magic. Flynn comes to life, and they embrace in happiness.

Closing

Rapunzel returns to Corona and reunites with the King and Queen, who instantly recognize her as their daughter. The kingdom celebrated the return of the princess with great joy. Flynn, who now goes by his real name, Eugene, chose to leave the life of a thief and become part of the royal family. Maximus menjadi kepala penjaga kerajaan, dan para preman Snuggly Duckling mewujudkan mimpi mereka masing-masing.

The Film closes with Eugene narrating that he and Rapunzel finally got married after several years of dating. They lived happily ever after, surrounded by love, family and new adventures.

Orang tua juga bisa menikmatinya bersama anak karena humor dan emosi yang universal!
https://screenscore.digitalmama.id/wp-content/uploads/2023/12/MV5BMTAxNDYxMjg0MjNeQTJeQWpwZ15BbWU3MDcyNTk2OTM@._V1_.jpg
{"Est. reading time":"5 minutes
@context":"https://schema.org","@graph":[{"@type":"WebPage","@id":"https://screenscore.digitalmama.id/content/tangled/
{"@id":"https://screenscore.digitalmama.id/#website
@id":"https://screenscore.digitalmama.id/content/tangled/#primaryimage
@id":"https://screenscore.digitalmama.id/content/tangled/#primaryimage
https://screenscore.digitalmama.id/wp-content/uploads/2023/12/MV5BMTAxNDYxMjg0MjNeQTJeQWpwZ15BbWU3MDcyNTk2OTM@._V1_.jpg
{"@id":"https://screenscore.digitalmama.id/content/tangled/#breadcrumb
en-US
@type":"ReadAction
https://screenscore.digitalmama.id/content/tangled/"]}]},{"@type":"ImageObject
en-US","@id":"https://screenscore.digitalmama.id/content/tangled/#primaryimage
https://screenscore.digitalmama.id/wp-content/uploads/2023/12/MV5BMTAxNDYxMjg0MjNeQTJeQWpwZ15BbWU3MDcyNTk2OTM@._V1_.jpg
https://screenscore.digitalmama.id/wp-content/uploads/2023/12/MV5BMTAxNDYxMjg0MjNeQTJeQWpwZ15BbWU3MDcyNTk2OTM@._V1_.jpg
@type":"BreadcrumbList","@id":"https://screenscore.digitalmama.id/content/tangled/#breadcrumb
@type":"ListItem
{"@type":"ListItem
{"@type":"ListItem
Tangled"}]},{"@type":"WebSite","@id":"https://screenscore.digitalmama.id/#website
{"@id":"https://screenscore.digitalmama.id/#organization
@type":"SearchAction
@type":"EntryPoint
https://screenscore.digitalmama.id/?s={search_term_string}
@type":"PropertyValueSpecification
{"@type":"Organization","@id":"https://screenscore.digitalmama.id/#organization
{"@type":"ImageObject
en-US","@id":"https://screenscore.digitalmama.id/#/schema/logo/image/
https://screenscore.digitalmama.id/wp-content/uploads/2024/02/cropped-Screenshot_2024-02-22_at_21.40.34-removebg-preview_result-1.webp
https://screenscore.digitalmama.id/wp-content/uploads/2024/02/cropped-Screenshot_2024-02-22_at_21.40.34-removebg-preview_result-1.webp
{"@id":"https://screenscore.digitalmama.id/#/schema/logo/image/
["GET
