Unbeknownst to her, the number had been transferred to Wes, a kind-hearted real estate agent in Austin, Texas. Wes begins listening to Jill's personal and honest voicemails, then slowly falls in love with a woman he has never met.The Film combines romantic humor, emotional depth about grief, and a unique and sweet love story.
Full Description & Plot Summary
The Film is divided into two main “love:
- Love between two sisters
Jill and Isabelle have a very strong bond. Jill lived “for two " -she lived a life full of colors and stories so that the sickly Isabelle could feel them. The beginning of the film is very touching and emotional. - Love that comes from voicemail
After Isabelle died, Jill continued to “talk " to her sister via voicemail. Wes (the recipient of the number by accident) becomes a loyal listener.
Wes eventually decides to meet Jill in person. From here the story develops into a romance that is funny, awkward, and full of chemistry. There are romantic moments in San Francisco, conflict over Wes '” secret " listening to voicemails, and Jill's journey in healing her grief. The Film ends with a warm, bittersweet feel — about accepting the loss while still moving on with life and opening your heart to new people.Main themes:
- Grief & healing
- Sister ties
- Love born in an unusual way
- Chasing dreams despite grief
Compatibility with children / adolescents

Not suitable for children under 15 years old. Recommended for teens 15+ and adults.Alasan detail (berdasarkan Common Sense Media & Plugged In):

| Abusive Language | Medium | Ada f-word (3x), shit (banyak), bitch, ass, hell, damn, serta penyalahgunaan nama Tuhan. |
| Alcohol & Drugs | Medium | Adegan minum alkohol (shots, wine, beer). There are marijuana/pot references. |
| Violence | Low | There is almost no physical violence. There is a scene of a small child fighting (comedy). |
| Emotional Themes | Height | Death of Sister due to genetic disease (cystic fibrosis) + very emotional grieving process. Many viewers admitted to crying throughout the film. |
Conclusion for parents:
- This is not a children's or family movie.
- Suitable for late teens and young adults who are already prepared with themes of sex, abusive language and grief.
- The positive message is good: about the importance of family, valuing life, and daring to move on after a loss.
Recommendations:
Kalau kamu suka rom-com seperti Set It Up atau You’ve Got Mail tapi dengan tambahan drama emosional yang lebih dalam (mirip campuran The Fault in Our Stars + rom-com modern), film ini sangat worth watching.
