Complete Synopsis Toy Story 3
Toy Story 3 is an animated film produced by Pixar Animation Studios released in 2010. This Film is a sequel of Toy Story (1995) and Toy Story 2 (1999), serta melanjutkan petualangan mainan-mainan hidup yang dipimpin oleh Woody, Buzz Lightyear, dan teman-teman mereka. With themes about separation, growth and Fidelity, the film manages to combine humor, deep emotions and thrilling adventures.
Background Story
The story centers on Andy Davis, who is now 17 and preparing to leave home for college. Mainan-mainannya, termasuk Woody (disuarakan oleh Tom Hanks), Buzz Lightyear (Tim Allen), Jessie (Joan Cusack), dan lainnya, telah lama tidak dimainkan dan tersimpan di peti. Andy must decide what to do with his beloved toys before he leaves, while the toys worry about their future. They begin to question whether they are still needed or will be forgotten.
Beginning Of The Conflict
Accidentally, Andy's toys (except Woody's) were put in a garbage bag that was supposed to be thrown away. Woody, whom Andy actually chose to take to college, tries to save his friends. However, the bag was instead donated to Sunnyside Daycare, a daycare center that looks like a paradise for toys. In Sunnyside, the toys are greeted by Lotso (Lots-o’-Huggin’ Bear), a strawberry-scented teddy bear who is the leader of the toys there.
Life in Sunnyside
At first, Sunnyside seemed like the perfect place: toys were played with every day by children, and Lotso and his men, such as Big Baby and Ken, ran the place in a friendly manner. However, Woody feels that something is wrong and chooses to run away in order to return to Andy. Meanwhile, Buzz and the others begin to realize that Sunnyside is a covert prison. Lotso turns out to be a ruthless tyrant, forcing new toys to entertain rough toddlers in the Caterpillar room, while he and his cronies enjoy the comforts of The Butterfly Room.
Buzz, attempting to uncover the truth, is captured and reset by Lotso into “Demo” mode which renders him a delusional Space Ranger and loyal to Lotso. With Buzz now a guard hostile to his friends, any hope of escape is slim. Meanwhile, Woody, who managed to escape Sunnyside, meets Bonnie, a gentle and creative little child, and her loving toys. Woody begins to understand that living with a new child may be a good future for toys.
Struggle and escape
Woody returns to Sunnyside after learning of his friends ' suffering from Bonnie's toys. He devised a plan to free them. Together, the toys face various obstacles, including returning Buzz to his original personality (although it was funny when Buzz switched to the romantic “Spanish” mode). They also have to deal with Lotso and his men, as well as the tight security system in Sunnyside, including a toy monkey watching the surveillance cameras.
The escape plan almost succeeds, but Lotso betrays them at the last minute, leaving them in grave danger. In one of the most emotional scenes in the film, the toys are trapped in a landfill and almost destroyed in an incinerator. They took each other by the hand, accepted their fate with great affection for each other, showing an unshakable bond between them.
Emotional peak and cover
At a critical juncture, the toys are rescued by” The Claw " operated by Aliens, a minor character obsessed with the claws of the claw machine. Lotso eventually faces the consequences of his actions, while the toys return to Andy's House. Andy, who originally planned to keep Woody alone, eventually decided to donate all of his toys to Bonnie, the child he knew would love them.
In a heartwarming moment, Andy introduces each toy to Bonnie, reminiscing about the memories he had with them. He even played with them one last time before going to college, closing the chapter with them. Woody and his friends start a new life with Bonnie, full of hope and happiness, even though they know Andy will always be in their hearts.
