Tokyo Ghoul
“Tokyo Ghoul” is an anime and manga series created by Sui Ishida. The story centers on Ken Kaneki, an ordinary college student whose life changes drastically after encountering a ghoul, a man-eating creature that disguises itself among society. After a tragic incident, Kaneki becomes half-ghoul and must adapt to a new life full of conflict, both physically and emotionally. The series combines elements of horror, action, and psychological drama, with themes such as identity, morality, and survival.
Regarding suitability for children's shows, “Tokyo Ghoul” not recommended for children. The series contains graphic violence, blood, mutilation, and heavy dark themes, such as cannibalism and psychological trauma. The content is more appropriate for older teens (ages 16 and up) or adults who can understand the emotional complexities and context. For children, lighter, more positive viewing such as “Doraemon” or “Pokémon” is much more appropriate.
