This film features fast-paced action, dramatic 3D effects, and a tense atmosphere typical of the Resident Evil series.
Compatibility with children:
“Resident Evil: Afterlife” is rated R (Restricted) or the equivalent of 17+ in many countries because it contains quite intense graphic violence, blood and gore, as well as a horror atmosphere that can be scary. Scenes such as fights with zombies, mutant creatures armed with giant axes, and the use of firearms or bladed weapons are explicitly depicted, which are not suitable for children. Additionally, strong language and dark themes of world destruction can be difficult to understand or disturbing for young viewers. This film is not recommended for children under 17 without strict parental supervision, and is more suitable for late teens or adults who enjoy horror, action, and science fiction genres with a high level of suspense. For young children or early teens, the content is likely to be too scary or inappropriate.
