Full Movie Synopsis Frozen (2013)

Frozen is an animated musical film produced by Walt Disney Animation Studios released in 2013, inspired by fairy tales The Snow Queen karya Hans Christian Andersen. The Film follows the journey of two princess sisters, Elsa and Anna, in the fictional kingdom of Arendelle, who face internal conflict, love, and sacrifice to save their kingdom from eternal winter. Here is the most complete synopsis of the film:

In the beautiful kingdom of Arendelle, there live two princesses, Elsa and Anna, who are very close since childhood. Elsa, her older sister, has the magical power to create ice and snow, which she often uses to play with Anna. However, one night, while playing, Elsa accidentally injures Anna with her powers. To save Anna, The King and Queen take them to a mystical troll in the forest. The leader of the trolls, Grand Pabbie, heals Anna and erases her memory of Elsa's powers. He also warns Elsa that fear of her powers can be a danger if not controlled. To protect Anna and Elsa, The King and Queen decide to isolate Elsa from the outside world, even from her own sister, and teach her to hide her powers with the spell “hide, don't feel.”
Years passed, and the relationship of the sisters stretched. Anna, who is cheerful and full of spirit, longs for closeness with Elsa, but does not understand why Elsa is moving away. After the King and Queen die in a shipwreck, Elsa must prepare to become queen, while Anna remains lonely. On the day of Elsa's coronation, the palace gates were opened for the first time in many years, and Anna was excited to meet new people. At the coronation party, Anna meets Prince Hans of the Southern Isles, who is handsome and charming, and they immediately find a match. Meanwhile, Elsa struggles to control her powers in public, constantly wearing gloves to contain her magic.
The conflict arose when Anna, after spending one night with Hans, announced that they wanted to get married. Elsa strongly resists this impulsive decision, which provokes a quarrel between them. In anger and panic, Elsa accidentally unleashed her ice powers in front of all the guests, revealing her secret to the public. Fearing rejection and the stigma of being a “monster,” Elsa flees Arendelle, accidentally triggering an eternal winter that freezes the entire kingdom. He hid in the mountains and built a magnificent ice palace, finally feeling free to be himself, as depicted in the iconic song “Let It Go.”
Anna, feeling responsible for Elsa's departure, decides to find her brother and bring summer back to Arendelle. He left Hans to lead the Kingdom and adventure alone. Along the way, Anna meets Kristoff, a rough but kind ice Miner, along with his pet deer, Sven. After losing her horse and carriage to a wolf attack, Anna convinces Kristoff to help her find Elsa in exchange for new equipment. On the way, they meet Olaf, a living snowman that Elsa created by accident. Olaf, cheerful and naive, dreams of feeling the summer and helps Anna with clues about Elsa's whereabouts.
Meanwhile, in Arendelle, Hans leads an effort to help the people suffering from the winter. However, the Duke of Weselton, a guest from a neighboring kingdom, begins to spread propaganda that Elsa is a dangerous witch who must be stopped. In the mountains, Anna finally finds Elsa's ice palace and tries to convince her to come back and fix the winter. Elsa, still overcome with fear, claims not to know how to stop her powers. In a panic, he accidentally injures Anna again, this time with an ice strike that hits her heart. Kristoff, who witnessed the incident, takes Anna to the trolls for healing. Grand Pabbie reveals that only an “act of true love” can thaw Anna's frozen heart, or it will turn to ice forever.
Kristoff, beginning to fall in love with Anna, rushes to bring her back to Arendelle so Hans can kiss her, believing that Hans is Anna's true love. Meanwhile, Hans leads an expedition to capture Elsa, who was taken prisoner after a battle in the ice palace. In Arendelle, Anna meets Hans and begs for a kiss from him, but Hans reveals his true nature: he only pretends to love Anna in order to usurp the throne of Arendelle. He leaves Anna for dead and plans to accuse Elsa of treason in order to execute her and take over the kingdom.
Elsa managed to escape from prison thanks to her strength, but the blizzard she accidentally created only got worse. Anna, who is getting weaker, hears that Elsa is in danger and chooses to look for her despite her critical condition. In the midst of the storm, Anna sees Hans about to kill Elsa with a sword. With the rest of her energy, Anna jumps in front of Elsa, freezing into an ice sculpture just as Hans ' sword almost hits Elsa. This act of sacrifice of Anna was an “act of true love” that melted her heart, brought her back to life.
Seeing Anna's sacrifice, Elsa realizes that love is the key to controlling her power. With love for Anna and her people, she manages to melt the winter and return the summer to Arendelle. Hans was captured and sent back to his kingdom to be punished, while the Duke of Weselton was cut off from his trade. Elsa, now accepted as she is, becomes the beloved Queen, and the gates of the Palace remain open. Anna and Kristoff begin their romantic relationship, and Olaf enjoys the summer with Elsa's personal snow cloud. The sisters are finally reunited, with their love beating all odds.
