Firaxis Games resmi menggulirkan Update 1.4.2 untuk gim strategi berbasis giliran Sid Meier’s Civilization VII ke seluruh platform. This update continues the developers ' efforts to revisit a number of existing systems to provide greater gameplay depth, as the Test of time expansion completes. Several new features and enhancements were introduced to respond to community feedback, especially on aspects of diplomacy and victory arrangements.
One of the main changes is the Peace Deals system, which now offers more negotiation options, with an expanded item exchange toolkit and a cleaner and more intuitive interface for ending wars. The Leader Relationships system was also refined to give players more control and clarity over their diplomatic strategies. In addition, individual win settings are re-enabled after a revamp in Test of Time, allowing players to disable or enable specific Win types according to their individual playing style.
Along with this update, Firaxis is also launching the second part of its paid Brush and Blade Collection that elevates Korean history, featuring leader Yi Sun-sin and the Goryeo and Joseon civilizations. The developers remind PC players that this update will disable all active mods, so it is advisable to give the modding community time to update their work before it is re-enabled. Players who want to complete the game on previous versions can still use the legacy beta branch on Steam.
