Han Ji-min was born on November 5, 1982 in Heukseok-dong, Seoul, South Korea. He grew up in a simple family, with parents who were busy working, so he was cared for more by his grandparents during his childhood. His grandparents ' influence greatly shaped his character, and he lived with them in a three-generation house in Heukseok-dong into adulthood.

Since childhood, Han Ji-min was known for her beauty, which made her popular in elementary school. Early Career (1999-2004)Han Ji-min began her career in the entertainment industry in 1999, while still a high school student. She modeled for various commercial advertisements (CF) and appeared in a number of music videos, which became her first step towards fame.
