- Horror Content: The Film contains creepy scenes such as ghost sightings and tense atmosphere that may be scary for children, especially those who are sensitive to things smelling supernatural.
- Themes and emotions: While there are relatable elements of friendship and self-discovery for teens, some parts of the story involve quite complex emotional conflicts, which may be difficult to understand or unsettling for young children.

Full Movie Synopsis You Deserve To Die (2022)
You Deserve To Die is an Indonesian horror film released on October 13, 2022, directed by Ginanti Rona and adapted from a South Korean film Mourning Grave (2014) karya Oh In-chul. With a script written by Alim Sudio and Jong-ho Lee, the film combines elements of supernatural horror, drama, romance, and social issues such as bullying (bullying). Starring Emir Mahira as Rakka and Zee JKT48 as Dini, the film became Zee JKT48's big screen debut and marked Emir Mahira's return to acting after the vacuum. Set in the beautiful but mystical Bogor region, the film presents an emotional and suspenseful story for a duration of 107 minutes.
Storyline
The Film focuses on Rakka (Emir Mahira), a teenager born as an indigo, possessing the unique ability to communicate with the spirits of the dead. However, this ability actually became a heavy burden for him. The spirits who come to him often ask for help to solve their unfinished business, such as taking revenge or unraveling the mystery of their death. Rakka even often helps the police uncover murder cases by finding the location of buried victims. Unfortunately, this ability makes him the target of bullying at his school in Jakarta, causing him to feel isolated and depressed.
Feeling exhausted by the bullying and social pressure, Rakka decides to move from Jakarta to Jonggol, Bogor, her hometown, to start a new life. There, he lives with his uncle, Ajat (Randhika Djamil), who also has similar indigo abilities. Ajat becomes a mentor for Rakka, helping to understand and manage her abilities. Rakka then continued her education at Sumpah Pemuda Jonggol high school, hoping to live a calmer life.
However, the peace that Rakka hoped for did not come. At his new school, he is faced with the terrifying terror of a vengeful masked evil spirit. This spirit causes some of Rakka's schoolmates to mysteriously disappear, creating an atmosphere of fear among students and teachers. Rakka, with her IndiGo abilities, begins to investigate the reason behind the appearance of this vengeful spirit, who seems to have motives related to bullying in the past.
In the midst of the terror, Rakka meets a beautiful ghost figure whom she calls Dini (Zee JKT48). Unlike the evil spirits, Dini is a gentle spirit but loses memories of her identity and past. Dini often accompanies Rakka, and their relationship develops into a sweet emotional bond, even leading to shades of cross-world romance. Rakka is determined to help Dini restore her memories, while trying to stop the increasingly brutal actions of evil spirits. In the process, Rakka reveals the dark secret behind the terror, which turns out to be related to the dark history of the school and the trauma of bullying experienced by one of the spirits.
The story gets complicated when Rakka discovers that the evil spirit has a double side. On the one hand, he is a cruel vengeful spirit, but on the other hand, he can turn into an early, good-natured figure and make Rakka fall in love. Rakka's inner conflict arises: she must stop the terror of the evil spirits without hurting Dini, who belongs to the same spirit. With Ajat's help and her own courage, Rakka struggles to uncover the truth, save her friends, and help Dini find peace.
Important themes and elements
