Kento Nanami is the main supporting character in Jujutsu Kaisen, a creation of Gege Akutami. He is a 1st Class Jujutsu wizard who graduated from Tokyo Jujutsu High, where he was a junior to Satoru Gojo and Suguru Geto. Nanami has a unique background as she once left the wizarding world after graduation to work as a salaryman in finance. However, after four years of feeling empty with corporate life, he returns to being a Jujutsu wizard, driven by a desire to do meaningful work.
Nanami's decision to return to being a witch is triggered by the experience of saving a woman in a bakery from a cursed spirit that causes shoulder pain.
